Again better late then never... I apologize.
American Girl Series : I struggled with reading as kid. But the American Girl series helped me find a connection that ultimately turned into a love for reading. These books were not only a good read they introduced problem solving and controversies. This was the first series that I had ever read, I still have most of the book sitting in my bookshelf to day.
Sherlock Holmes : Who doesn't love a good intrigue? I personally love stories with Sherlock because things are never what they seem to be. A good life lesson for us all . Most are short stories witch make them convenient for anyone avid reader or not.
Harry Potter Series : I like multiple book series because you get a chance to fall in love with some character and hate others. With Harry Potter you root for the underdog along with his group of misfit friends. Its very much a book you can submerse yourself in getting lost for hours.
I love Sherlock Holmes books, I can totally remember getting lost in those books in middle school and wanna to look for mystery to solve. Sherlock Holmes is definitely one of the best mystery solvers of all time, even though he's made up.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter books were definitely hard to let go after reading the first few chapters, the development between the characters through the series was probably one of the hugest locks that kept most people reading those books.
I can definitely agree with your choice of the Harry Potter series, it has to be hands down one of my favorites! It extended my vocabulary and brought me to the wonderful world of wizards!
