Apparently I am not alone on this thought.

Media Impact
Media Autobiography
Better late then never? I have had a relationship with the media in one form or another for as long as I can remember. All tho never having a job in the media I would not be opposed to one. Social media advertising is particularly interesting to me.
- Books- Books are a big one for me. With the exception of film, the majority of my money growing up went into books. I can thank my love of written texts to my grandmother who single handily taught me that reading was the thing to do. Books have also helped me learn to deal with dyslexia.
- Newspapers- With the exception of the occasional sudoku puzzle or the Sunday adds I rarely pick up a newspaper. It is delivered daily to my house but it is often just recycled after my grandpa pulls out the sports section.
- Magazines- This form of media was short lived for a few years between junior high and high school. But magazines may make a short comeback when my friends or my self start getting engaged and need some inspiration for wedding planning.
- Movies- Movies have been present in my life as long as I can remember. Disney animated movies were a staple in my house growing up. I still love and watch them to this day. I like to think I watch a broad a ray from back and whites to documentaries.
- Recording (audio/music)- In high school I had a few textbooks on tape, it was interesting and took some getting used to. But ultimately it didn't stick. Music how ever has been an addiction since about the 5th grade when I started stealing my brothers cds. After getting my first ipod I soon after had to invest in an external hard drive for the mass amounts of music I was accumulating.
- Radio- Where the love music ultimately started. From the time I could talk I learned the words to many oldies from riding with my grandmother. 99.7 kfrc was preset on every radio up until a few years back when the station changed. Between the stereo at home, in my car and apps on my phone I pretty much have access to the radio at all times.
- Television- For the first quarter of my life t.v was pretty predominant in my life. As of late it is almost non existent. Between netflix and the internet I can keep up on shows and movies with out the need of the t.v. My grandparents watch their shows religiously, time permitting I catch an episode or two a week with them.
- Internet- This one is a love hate relationship. The internet has produced many great tool but at the same time has also created a whole new realm problems. I think its safe to say that I use it on a daily basis.
